What is Behavioral Health

Behavioral health is the scientific study of the emotions, behaviors and biology relating to a person’s mental well-being, their ability to function in every day life and their concept of self. Behavioral health describes the connection between a person’s behaviors and the health and well-being of the body and mind. A person struggling with his or her behavioral health may face stress, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, grief, addiction, ADHD or learning disabilities, mood disorders, or other psychological concerns. – CDC

We have nursing staff on-call to assist our patients with medical questions or concerns that arise when our clinics are closed. MEHOP clinics are open Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday’s 8am-4pm with the exception of our Family Medicine clinic which is open extended hours during the week until 8:30pm, Saturdays 7am-4pm and Sunday’s 8am-Noon. After Family Medicine is closed is when on-call staff will be available to assist you. Our after hours on-call personnel can be contacted at 979-318-9853.
